“The Calder Witch Hunt” was a commissioned comic by the campaign of the same name before I graduated after my honours project comic, “Noone o’ thaim witches”, was shared by the campaign “Witches of Scotland”. The comic is available free for schools and non-commercial use from the project “The Calder Witch Hunt”.

The comic is used in schools across Scotland, including West Calder High, Bathgate Academy, Mid Calder Primary and a couple of Glasgow schools. The comic is also displayed at the Calder Kirk for tours and school visits.

The Calder Witch Hunt is a community project supported by West Calder and Harburn Community Development Trust and West Lothian Museums Services. The project hopes to discover more about accusations of witchcraft at Calder during the 17th century, build a local history resource, provide the community with opportunities to participate, and commemorate the lives of the people who were affected.
